That will cut back some. I have the most reservations about the 'grey' housing. There is very little in the way of grey in any of your other plans for the bike. If the intent is somehow to match the aluminum/silver components, why not go with the stainless braid or clear covered coil housings? Then you're at least getting a metal look to match what you have. You won't be trying to match a color to a metal.
I run into this a lot putting aluminum storefront windows in buildings. The sealants that should match them try in every way to be the same color, but in the end, you just can't match color to the properties of the clear anodized metal.
