Garage sales yesterday, no bikes (thats the norm). Did find a huge amount of painting supplies cheap (I will be painting the outside of my house shortly). Also picked up an unusual Seiko watch for $2. It had a dead battery. Looked it up on ebay. If it runs, they are going for $500 to $800, for parts, they are going for $75 to $100. I was hoping to just have a cool looking watch to replace my beat up, cheapie Casio. Well, that's not going to happen.

90% + of my best garage sales scores are not bikes. If I was just looking for bikes, I would have given up on garage sales long ago.

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.
