On my fixed gear I've ridden track pedals with steel single clips, clipless (look keo), plastic platform with straps and currently MKS GR-9, all city doubles and retrogression double straps.

I had shadow conspiracy plastic platforms with burro straps. They are OK. Comfortable but just not great compared to your foot inside of a toe clip or inside of a clipless shoe. Regardless, feel stupid with bmx pedals.

The gr-9 with double clips are amazing for me right now because most of my riding is around town, bar hopping. GR-9 is basically a small platform pedal without being a bmx pedal + clips.

But if I'm on my road bike or riding 10+ miles..clipless all the way. wear a backpack and throw a pair of vans in it.
