Well if your saddle is indeed 143 mm wide where my picture above shows "X" then it is an extraordinary saddle and you definitely need to get a more normal bike saddle. Perhaps we have a misunderstanding? I simply can't comprehend how your saddle could be 5" wide in the middle unless you made it from a bar-stool.
