Sounds right to me...it's hard with the really high end and/or weird stuff because we don't see it sell many times. I'd value it, personally, and estimate it as being in between a 70's Cinelli and an early 80s Cinelli, which is how I came to $2,000 as an off eBay sale. As a wild guess, it would sell for somewhere between $2,200 and $2,600 on the bay, and then he deducts fees and has the hassle of eBay and shipping.
