I think that you're dead on. It's a good deal (but not great);t he's definitely not giving it away. A really nice example only fetched $1800 recently, but another odd duck fetched $4750. I wouldn't guess on this one without seeing more photos, but I think that you're correct in guessing that the most LIKELY range is $2000-2500, with a possibility of a good bit higher. So, $2400 is certainly a legitimate asking price. But, it could still take a little while to find the right buyer.....
