Again, thanks for all the kind words. My intentions for fenders are chrome, I have a set of PB black plastic ones that I am not happy with the look of on this particular bike.

As far as cleaning goes, it was not as bad as some of the old three speeds I have done. Mostly just accumulated dirt, not much dried grease and no rust. I regreased everything but I did not do a complete tear down like I would normally do because I was impatient and I wanted to keep the cables for now. Frankly it was in such good shape that it did not need it.
