I live in wisconsin, I work full time and also am paying my through college. Don't always have time to gear up and ride, nor the money to buy all expensive outdoor gear. And riding a road bike through the snow is ******** and dangerous, not to mention the wear and tear it would put on my bike (salt on the roads=rust). I am very aware of the benefits of riding outdoors, and would definitely prefer that, but preference is not always an option.
