Remember being a kid and getting your first bike? Remember how much fun it was to ride even though it probably was just a run of the mill dept store bike? It seems that as adults we lose sight of what really matters... enjoy your bike. I too like the color and now that you raised your saddle you may be able to mount the tail light on the saddle post. As for tires, you'll be amazed at the difference between MTB and street tires.
