One of the people helping pedal-elect eBikes is the Courts suspending driver's licenses. a scooter, no pedaling to go, in many states is still a motorbike.. so its a go to jail choice.

though it reads on E Moto website, a speed restricted option is offered for states that exclude them specifically... like a 30cc motor is OK, but a 50cc, is not.
