That's just another advantage of used. Almost every used set I have picked up has come with tires, tubes, skewers, cassette, tape. At least half the time, the tires are decent to good. Even though you have to toss the tires, the rest of those bits have some value.

And I consider it just another habit that is "green". Recycle, reuse, and save some cash. What's not to like?

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.
