Agree with the above, keep the tricolor.
Chombi - I'm sure that plays a role...ti does have a sameness about it, and I'm not one for tig either. Still, they're EXCELLENT riders, great value and, as you hinted, the welding is amazing on many of them. It's a more industrial, straight to business feel.
It's nice to have a frame you don't worry about scratching or wiping down.
