Anyway your Trofeo is most likely an '87. You can tell because of the script model name the '86/87 World champ sticker. the Trofeo in those days was usually a few models above the CdI. Like the CdI usually carried a mix of Suntour drive and Italian cranks, brakes, hubs and other parts, although the '87 model was dressed up a bit with the SR drive since Vic/Tri and C-Rec were now being marketed as better. According to the catalog you cranks should be Ofmega SUper Champion.
If you havent taken them off yet use an abundance of caution, I stripped the extractor threads on my '88 Trofeo with an Ofmega crank. make sure the threads are really clean the extractor tool screwed all the way in. It wouldn't hurt to put some penetrating oil on and let it sit for a day either.
