I'd go with Surly chainrings. They're a bit more$$ and a bit heavier, but holy **** do they last. I've got one on my ss mtb which, for two years, was my sole trail and winter bike. Salt, sand, dirt, mud, general grime, water, you name it. Every once in a while I'd clean it off and it would shine like new. Still shines, but after a couple years of hard riding it's starting to look a little more gnarly. A quality ring.
