I prepend my user name to all the images I upload to Velospace. So instead of using the name the camera gave the image, say DSC00234.jpg, I would rename it to BlueDevil_72Mercian_right_side.jpg.
The image size restrictions are a pain also.
My Velospace account is BlueDevil and I have some of my bikes there.
Sometimes, you can sneak in a big pic, which is odd.
I've also had the "global pic drawer" put a different picture on my page than my bike. This led, of course, to putting up a page and tossing in generic image file names, just to see what showed up.
I like scrolling through the new uploads for C&V. Plus, there are some serious bad-ass bikes on velospace, from hard core roadies to fixed gears. C&V bikes are some of the tamer offerings.
Velospace is an excellent place to document your bikes in case one of them gets stolen. All the build data is right there.
