I have that exact fork on my KHS. Haven't had any problems with it at all. Just need to get the LBS to swap the fork crown race of the headset over from the suspension fork to the new fork, or buy a new crown race and have the LBS install it. You really need special tools to make sure it's done right.

I'm using the original Shimano v-brakes on it right now, but one day I may go with an Avid BB6 disc setup along with a new rim. Contemplating a conversion to 700c rims front and back.

Note: this pic is outdated. I now have the adjustable stem almost dead flat and the bar ends are laid down much more flat. Lets me get more aero on the down hill and is actually quite comfortable. I'm on the bar ends inboard of the grips at least 50% of the time.
