I bought this bike from forum member gridplan a while ago. He posted a few pictures in a custom paint thread earlier this year but it is such an exceptional bike I thought I would post a few more. I made a few changes - black bar tape and cables, removed black anodizing from stem, redid some paint infill in gold to match frame accents - but the credit for the beautiful paint job goes to griplan and CyclArt. I'm pretty sure this is an early 80s model, probably '83. Not sure of actual model, maybe a Super Record Special. It has a "chameleon" paint job that changes color depending on the angle of view. The color changes from a light blue that matches the lugs to a deep purple. Very cool. And a very cool bike. Super Record group with very nice Modolo Master Pro brakes.
