Did you do any riding in the park?
I've done the Door County Century several times, last year on the tandem at 19.4 mph

We usually stay at the hotel right where you are talking about while several of our friends stay in the park. We did a family ride through the park last year, it's very nice indeed!

Funny story, a few years ago, a FIB was staying in a room near us and we starting talking. He said there were a lot of hills in Door county I told him to come to the Wright Stuff Century for a good flat ride Seriously, Door County is about the flattest century I've done.
