Heavy Metal Ride, any Interest?

Had a great ride today with RedRider and we got to talkin (always dangerous). Anyway, here's the deal. I have a custom steel frameset on order. And I know a bunch of you also prefer steel. When that bike gets in and is built, I think it would be fun to have a metal bike day. Bring out your steel, aluminum, or Ti bikes (ok, CF will be alright, but ONLY if you don't have a metal one) and join us for a ride.

EDIT: I found out this morning it's going to paint today (Monday)!

RedRider thought that today's route would make a good one. It's got a good mix of climbing and descending. Along with some absolutely outstanding scenery. It's not an easy route, but we'll make a day of it so the pace is irrelevant. We'll regroup often, no one gets dropped.

And as a bonus, post ride everyone can come back to my place and I'll fire up the grill for some cheeseburgers, brauts, and whatever else you want. You're even welcome to use our shower if you would like. Of course, you'll have to put up with the exuberant dogs (a labrador and an english mastiff) and our kids. Bring your own beer.

The route from my place is 85mi, or you can opt for the shorter 53mi version from Folsom Bike. Here's a map of the ride from Folsom Bike. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1806891

So what do ya'll think? At the moment, the date is open as I don't know when my bike will be done. Probably another 4 to 6 weeks.

Some sort of pithy irrelevant one-liner should go here.
