Wesmamyke,
Thanks for a useful response.
How do some people get from a damage rim question to racist remarks is beyond me?
I purchased brand name wheelset that developed a fault. All I wanted was to find out if this had happened to anyone else, and what were the findings.
However, when I received these wheels, before using them, I checked them for trueness, eccentricity and even spoke tension. The results have been recorded, and were very good.
I have some Shimano Ultegra wheels since 2004 that have not developed any problems. These are my findings.
I am not supporting or condemning any manufacturer, but looking for good quality products at an affordable price.
I have already given the damaged rim to the Shimano rep, and will post the response when I get it.
Thanks again,
YannisG
