I'm running T2 Profile Design bullhorns, maybe Im just used to them but I'd never go back to round bars. Yes, these are much more comfortable for that exact reason you mention. Last week went on a 53 miler ride w/o any hand/palm issues.

Riding with hands near stem makes your back muscles to pick up the slack (makes u stronger in the long run) since you cannot put as much weight pressure as when in "hoods" position, in this sense is no different than any other bar. I think mine was about $35
