You can make statistics say anything. The one list citing "numbers" says nothing of its methodology, and reiterates the non-exhaustiveness of the survey.
Shoot, I don't want to get bit by ANY dog. And yes, Pits are raised to fight by guys that wanna be badasses. But there are many dogs that are tenacious (my Airedale pup is from a breed known to not give up), and no, Pits don't have some special feature that makes their jaws lock or makes them particularly deadly. We raised English Bulldogs when I was a kid - docile, loveable critters. But they were bred to bite and hang on, and if one did get in a fight he always won by biting and hanging on. So, I don't want to get bit by a Bulldog either (or for that matter, be farted on by one).
Pits are sweet dogs unless trained otherwise. They aren't ticking time bombs. Nor are Dobies, GSDs, or whatever - there are few breeds that are inherently dangerous, and those are usually exotics.
Be that as it may, cite real stats and facts, and and not your unsubstantiated beliefs and challenge others' opinions by disguising yours as fact.
HAHAHAHAHAHHAA. You just want to argue for the fun of it. It's a well known fact that Pits are the most worst domestic dog you can get, the entire internet knows this, the law enforcement agencies all know this, all insurance companies know this too and will either not write your homeowners insurance or will surcharge your premium because of that breed...a few other breeds too. You're living in denial. Speaking of facts, you showed nothing, zilch, zero, zip, in other words you showed no proof. So go back to your dog house you crawled out of and live with your Pit.
