I'm in NYC but our neighborhood has been very lucky. Clinton Hill is, literally, on a hill, so flooding has not been an issue. I also have had power for most of the storm, it went out for a bit, but it was just mildly annoying. My office is way downtown near Battery Park, however, and it looks like it's a big, big mess down there. My boss told me there's nothing we can do so just stay home until I hear otherwise. I guess that's a free vacation, but it's not good for him or the business, so that really stinks.

edit: That's not to say nothing happened here. We have lost some big old trees, some of which bashed cars on the way down. It just hasn't been as bad as elsewhere.
