Heh.

I offered $75 while trying to maintain an aloof attitude (while inside squiriming with sheer delight). We "split the difference", which meant $85. It came with absolutely beautiful Shimano 1st gen Deore XT RD-M700 and FD-M700 stag head derailleurs! I've transported the Jim Blackburn rear rack to my Fuji S-10S already. Not sure what to do with the Jim Blackburn constructeur/porter rack on the front.

The neat thing about this frame is the centerpull brake studs (Dia Compes mounted directly). They're alleged to have less flex and better stopping power this way. There's a little adapter plate for each with a return spring mount, like with V-brakes.

The frame is Champion #2 (Tange #2) with SunTour dropouts. Chromed throughout, but exposed only at the headtube lugs, wrap around seatstays, and dropouts. The paint also has pinstriping. It's pretty. I'll try to post pictures once I've fully cleaned and polished the frame.
