That one is fine, too - the men's frame is not pictured, but it would be a suitable option. It is more of a "hybrid" style, while the Oxford is more of a classic English-style town/country bike.
Either one would offer a good value, IMO.

And you're on the right track - simpler is better and more reliable, especially in this price range, where there is more value for money with a simpler bike.
