the outlier ones are cut for biking, the others cut likes regular jeans.

not cheap, but the fabric sounds like a good compromise between waterproof and breathable

Outlier pants are awesome and totally worth the money if you can afford them. And the company will let you send 'em back for free if they're wrong size, etc.(I think)
