I was told they altered the used plastic to fix that, already in 2006 or earlier...
The Ultimate 6 Pro looks practical for usage with a smartphone gps, hopefully you can run a wire into the lid compartment without loosing rainproofness. The one on the pictures looks like an ugly prototype though
Luckily there's also an updated non-Pro version.
The Pro has an RRP of 160 euros and the normal version an RRP of 100 euros.
