Ortlieb Ultimate 6 Pro Handlebar Bag

Sharing this here as I thought there might be some interest in this new handlebar bag from Ortlieb. Not much information on it as yet and I haven't been able to find any retailers actually stocking it as yet.

The big changes from what I have gleaned is:

(1) Lid is designed to work with touchscreen devices;
(2) Lid now has a magnetic closure;
(3) Lid is lockable.

A little bit more and more photos on my blog for those interested. Oh if you come across stock anywhere or a price please do share.

Regards
Andrew

They do keep changing the bar bag .. perhaps designers stare at it a lot..riding, themselves

hope the window doesn't go cloudy like their map cases do.. [even left in a dark bag ]

Looks very intereting, I've been looking for a new waterproof handle bar.

I was told they altered the used plastic to fix that, already in 2006 or earlier...

The Ultimate 6 Pro looks practical for usage with a smartphone gps, hopefully you can run a wire into the lid compartment without loosing rainproofness. The one on the pictures looks like an ugly prototype though Luckily there's also an updated non-Pro version.

The Pro has an RRP of 160 euros and the normal version an RRP of 100 euros.

Thats alot, looks like I'll be keeping my old AGU bag, €160 buys a lot of rain covers
