You may be in better shape than you think. I don't know for sure either way, but many Sram left shifters (though not necessarilly the road stuff) are micro friction and not indexed (like Campys) so it's entirely possible that you can use them on either doubles or triples. Check the exact details of the various model shifter sets, and see if that's an option for you.

Otherwise, you're SOL, and need to stay with Shimano throughout.
