Has anyone else had this issue on the MTB version? I tend to run my brakes and shifters a good deal away from the grips and today I just got some bar mitts and test fit them on the bike and the neoprene gets in the way of the shift lever and does not allow it to fully return to its resting position. I had a set on my road bike and absolutely loved them and want the same for my mtb.

Has anyone come up with a creative solution to this that still lets them go on and off quickly?
