Bar Mitts interfering with trigger shifters
Has anyone else had this issue on the MTB version? I tend to run my brakes and shifters a good deal away from the grips and today I just got some bar mitts and test fit them on the bike and the neoprene gets in the way of the shift lever and does not allow it to fully return to its resting position. I had a set on my road bike and absolutely loved them and want the same for my mtb.
Has anyone come up with a creative solution to this that still lets them go on and off quickly?

As with most things a custom solution usually works the best. You may have to look at other designs to find the best features and then make your own which are sized to your bars and shifter layout. The main problem with mass produced stuff is that the fits are only averaged fit's. So they are not usually ideal. But they do save you time and effort if they happen to work.

Yeah, I hear you, and my solution to this same problem was to opt for the snowmobile handlebar gauntlets instead as they fit alot better are roomier and are actually warmer. They are designed with more room in them for the throttle and brake and other controls that are on the handlebars.

It might come to that but these have been at the shop for a while and we just hit some weather that brings the temp down to near 0f. I am going to call the guys who make them tomorrow and if they have no good answers will likely bring them back and get some snowmobile ones. How much did your cost if you don't mind my asking? I LOVED the drop bar version I had but gave those away when I thought I was not going to have another drop bar bike but now that I have a road bike again I may end up swapping these for the drop bar ones and getting the snowmobile ones for the mtb/commuter. Being a gear ***** and poor is a bad combo btw....
