Another vote for just letting it be. Nothing's perfect.

My RB-1 has a ding that must have been caused by a swinging handlebar, and my new-to-me Mercian had several dings and dents that put it into my budget range. I consider them both warhorses; sure, if I ever repaint I'll probably get them filled with brass or something, but until then no point expending mental energy about them.
