I'm a local guy... I live in the far north 'burbs, but work downtown in Chicago near the Theater District.

I too have been considering applying different finishes (including colored anodizing) to my Birdy frame if I decide to strip all the paint off it this winter. I haven't found local places that do color anodizing in my searches at this point, however, I have really been focusing on finding a good, affordable place for powder coating.

In my searches, I'll post back to this thread if I come across a place that does colored anodizing.
