My miche system has been running smoothly for more than 4 years. I change my gearing a couple of times per year. The carrier is holding up fine, no issues with it. The cogs are beginning to show wear, but i have ridden teach of them thousands of miles. I wore out two eai cogs in the same amount of time, but it could be because i tended to use those cogs on bikes that get ridden in the slop more often.
