I had this on my Gary Fischer Tarpon when I bought it. They worked fine and looked nice with that particular bike.

The central part broke on a fall, my lbs had a replacement piece, but it broke off again. Now, I don't use front fenders, and use my rear rack as a rear mudguard. I try not to ride my bike on heavy rain though.
