Yes, I consider the Bussero blues to be "escapees."
Almost all of them have the SC fork, and a slight variation of the Equipe's panto stamps.
None were sent out with any decals whatsoever. The decals are another topic altogether, as there are several variations, many claimed to be on the bike when it was originally purchased.
An LBS here sold hundreds of Centurions, and didn't even know the Equipe existed.
As far as the silver color, I believe the SC started out in the 70's in silver only.
Sooner or later, I'm going to have a new one, in blue.
