That's the only problem I had - totally operator error. I forgot which button to push to check the battery and I pushed the one on the box. Then I started shifting, which is the way you make the adjustment to the RD. Things got fouled up and I had to take it back to my LBS and it took him five minutes to get it back to normal. It's a great system. I much prefer it over the mechanical DA on my other bike.
