Type of rim, rim depth, spoke count would likely all have some effect independent of weight.

Angular momentum isn't huge on a bicycle, but it does exist. A heavier wheel will take more torque to change it's direction and you might
feel this as more or less responsive. If you're really sprinting on a bike where when seen from behind the bike is wobbling all over the place, this could be affected by the angular momentum as well.
So, there. I gave you some scientific mumbo-jumbo justification for what you've experienced. I've got absolutely no idea if for the weight differences you've given me, if this is enough to be felt or not.
