You guys are absolutely amazing and intelligible, thanks a lot. How long do these bikes last if taken care of on my part and not thrown around by TSA? (the Brompton). If I am going to have it for a while, I would rather spend more and have better rides than spend a little and be more troubled. (for years). Will pay for itself anyways in Taxi costs alone.
When I was last in Europe, arriving from the train and then being met with the accessibility of Taxi cabs every which way you turn to take you to your hotel, the choice of travel becomes more of an ultimatum. (even though it is 2 miles away, and then you end up paying a 25$ fare) Assuming I buy a Folder, I will then be off and on my way before I would have packed my things into the cab.
I have also read somewhere that there are trailer systems to lug around your luggage (heh), will these work on most models of folders or are they specific to certain bikes?
