getting back to more guesswork: since no bonafide Guerciotti expert has chimed in yet, I'm forced to do my own research in a effort to know all and tell all:
seems to me that this frame has the headlugs, BB shell "star" cutout, brakebridge (I thought I saw a hole drilled in that, I'm wrong), and staycap panto consistent with an early '80s (or even '79) frame...by the mid-'80s the staycap had a script "signature" panto (at least the US imports).
The thing that I can't verify is that forkcrown: the earlier frames used a less-sloping (more flat-top) crown, this model is more what the mid-'80s frames used.
