There's no shifter or control cable for the "two speed hub".
"The bike is currently set as a single-speed, because I found it rather fitting for my relatively flat commute. I will, however, include everything needed to turn it back into a 2-speed bike."
When he says "currently set as a single-speed" it means the cable and shifter have been removed, but both sprockets are still installed. Strange choice.
Personally, I'd rather have the 2-speed capability than the weight savings. Then again, I haven't found carrying my M2L up the stairs a "daunting task", so I'm probably not the target market for this bike...
