OK, so after watching this youtube video it looks like I've been exiting the beach trail where it runs into Hermosa Ave. I didn't realize it kept going after that point (looks like a hard right is required to stay on it.) So my comments would only apply to section of bike path between Playa Del Ray and north Hermosa Beach and then surface streets south to Palos Verdes. Overall that route moves at a pretty good pace IMO.
