Though Winter is in full swing my bikes and potential photo rides are still in the forefront of my mind. My vision for the upcoming riding season is one of almost unlimited time and opportunities, unless reality sets in and changes things. I've been scoping things out and have posted a couple of winter views of things to come.

Here's what us poor North Coast creatures have been dealing with. These poor critters are waiting for Spring with at least as much anticipation as I am, meanwhile, they're busy walking on water...




These pictures are of the Genesee River at the Port of Rochester on my regular ride route.




One area I hope to spend ample time in is the University of Rochester, which is accross town from where I live. These are shots of the University Library...






Here's a picture of the Boynton House, a prairie style home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. My daughter in Chicago is a big fan of his so I anticipate riding by and photographing this structure often.




Are you thoroughly chilled to the bone yet? I am, so here's a couple of pictures from inside the Lamberton Conseratory in Highland Park...another destination of mine for next season.









So think warm thoughts and hopefully I'll soon be able to post ride reports with photographs of these same areas showing ample greenery and blossoms without having to resort to stopping into the Conservatory!!
