Apologies for bringing back an "old" thread, however, now that I've been told that I have osteopenia and need to supplement my calcium intake it suddenly has become pertinent. Oddly, given how common it has become, supplementation seems to be an area of some controversy. How much, what kind and the usefulness of it all being commonly asked questions without any clear answers available. I guess I'll just have to have my pie "ala mode" from this point on. Drat!
