I got my Gallaxy III and went to Google maps. It looks very similar to the online Google maps. I went to the tutorials and found one on saving and using maps offline, but when I go to my phone, the referrenced button doesn't appear on my screen. Am I missing something? Many cell phones have many features disabled by their cell phone companies. I don't know if your particular model/carrier suffers from this "feature" but if they have an alternate they can charge you for, it's likely.
