It depends on rim/tire combo. Folding specialized armadillos on Mavic CXP23's are a pain, but maxxis dth folding on a sun mtx 33 rim is stupidly easy. Hardest I've had was a 3 ply wire bead 26x2.7 Intense tire to a mavic EX729.
That being said, I won't even consider thickslicks anymore, nothing but trouble here.
