On a positive note, I bought my daughter her first road bike, a cute little Lexa for my cute little girl.



This was at the end of her first ride, 4.2 miles, 187 feet of climbing.

The yellow tape was her idea.

Oh, it was 32F, but with the wind chill it felt far worse than that. She's thawing out now, and has expressed a strange desire for Mexican food and beer

But we could have picked a nicer day.
