The Prius looks like a dust buster, the bike looks way better.
When your iPhone battery dies, do you have to pay $4,000 to get a new one? Heck, even the regular battery in the prius is expensive - some crazy shape that you can only buy at a Toyota dealer for $190.
On the plus side, my 58cm bike fits in the back of my wife's prius with the seats down.

And 47 mpg on a 6 year old car is nothing to shake a stick at either, although I haven't done the math to average in the 4k battery to see what the fuel costs really would have been.
There is nothing fun about driving a prius. Tiny little wheels make it drive like a skateboard, but if you are a data-driven nerd, it's entertaining to see how high you can get that average MPG number while driving. Be aware that non-flooring-it driving behavior will irritate the dickens out of everybody behind you though.
