Today there was a hint that winter might actually end someday. The snow that fell on Friday melted from the roads within a day or so, like spring snow does, and with temperatures in the mid-30s and a little sun, I could actually feel some warmth on my face. Some of the road shoulders got a little wider, reclaiming territory that has been occupied by snow banks. It was all very encouraging and good for morale.
