What it is/was no longer matters. Any value it may have had is lost with the paint and brazeons.

BTW just because 27" or 700c wheels will fit in the frame, they fit almost all 26" wheeled mountain bikes, it is whether the cantilever brakes matched up with the rim on 27" or 700c or 26" wheel.
